PDLC stands for Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal displays. This technology is also known under other names such as:

- Switchable glass
The custom glass technology has been improved to operate at a voltage of 3V to 5V, and an improved contrast ratio of 40:1.
One main advantage of this type of customized display is that it does not require additional voltage and temperature decreases.
At this time PDLC does not have the ability to display colors such as a FSC LCD.
This unique custom display allows the LCD glass to be clear and see through, then with the flip of a switch, the custom glass module becomes foggy and you are not able to see through.
